The Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET)-10 notification has been officially released by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi for recruitment of Nursing Officers at various AIIMS institutes across India.
This is one of the biggest nursing recruitments of 2026 for candidates holding B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualification. The exam will be conducted in two stages – Preliminary and Mains – in April 2026.

🎓 Educational Qualification – Who Can Apply?
You can apply through two routes:
✔ Route 1: B.Sc Nursing Candidates
- B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing
OR - Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
- Must be registered as Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council
✔ Route 2: GNM Diploma Candidates
- Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery
- Registered Nurse & Midwife
- Minimum 2 years experience in a 50-bedded hospital
⚠ Important Experience Rule:
The 2 years experience must be acquired after:
- Completion of course
- Result declaration
- Registration with Nursing Council
Experience before registration will NOT be counted.

♿ PwBD Guidelines
Eligible disability categories:
- OL (One Leg)
- LC (Leprosy Cured One Leg)
- Dw (Dwarfism)

Minimum 40% benchmark disability required.
Scribe allowed.
20 minutes compensatory time per hour.
All certificates must be uploaded during registration.

NORCET is conducted twice yearly. No second chance in same cycle.
