Eligibility Criteria for CISF Assistant Commandant
Candidates must be serving personnel of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) only.
- The candidate must have completed 4 (four) years of regular service as on 01 January of the year of examination
- Service must be in the rank of Sub Inspector (GD) or Inspector (GD)
- The period of basic training will be counted in the total service
- The candidate must have a clean service record
Not Eligible If:
- Any minor punishment under Rule-34 (vi–x) of CISF Rules, 2001 in the last 4 years, or
- Any major punishment under Rule-34 (i–v) of CISF Rules, 2001 during the entire service
Educational Qualification
- The Educational Qualification for appearing in the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination will be a Graduation from a recognized University.
Age Limit
Age limit is applicable as per LDCE rules for serving CISF personnel.
- Minimum : 18 years (As on the 01st August, 2026)
- Maximum : 35 Years (As on the 01st August, 2026)
Age Relaxation
- 5 Years (Only for SC & ST Candidates)
