The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has officially released the Odisha Civil Services Examination (OCS) 2025 notification under Advertisement No. 05 of 2025-26.
📌 Update: As per the 1st Addendum issued by OPSC on 03-01-2026, the total number of vacancies for OCS-2025 has been revised from 314 to 465 posts.
A total of 314 vacancies will be filled in Group-A and Group-B services of the Odisha State Government. The recruitment will be conducted through Preliminary Exam, Main Written Exam and Interview.
Online applications will be accepted from 20 January 2026 onwards through the official OPSC website.

As per the official notification, 314 vacancies are notified across various Odisha State Civil Services.

OPSC has revised the total vacancy position for Odisha Civil Services Examination-2025 to 465 posts through a 1st Addendum. Service-wise and category-wise revised vacancy details are provided in Appendix-A of the addendum.

🎓 Educational Qualification
Candidates must have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University.
❌ Final-year / appearing candidates are NOT eligible.
🎯 Age Limit (as on 01 January 2025)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 42 years
Age Relaxation
Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for:
- SC / ST / SEBC / Women / Ex-Servicemen – 5 Years
- PwD candidates (Permanent Disability is 40% or more ) – 10 Years

📝 Selection Process – OPSC OCS 2025
The recruitment will be conducted in three stages:
1️⃣ Preliminary Examination
- General Studies – Paper I – 200 Marks
- General Studies – Paper II – 200 Marks
👉 Negative marking of 0.33 for is wrong answer
2️⃣ Main Examination
- Written examination
- Marks counted for final merit
3️⃣ Interview / Personality Test
- Final selection based on Main Exam + Interview marks

🖥️ How to Apply for OPSC OCS 2025
Candidates must apply online only by following these steps:
- Visit the official OPSC website – opsc.gov.in
- Open the OCS 2025 Online Application link
- Complete registration and fill the application form
- Upload required documents, photograph & signature
- Pay the examination fee (if applicable)
- Submit the form and take a printout for reference
- On successful submission a Permanent Public Service Account Number (PPSAN) will be asigned to the candidate.

- 6 zones are decided for the examination
- Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jaypur & Sambalpur
- Candidates can choose 2 of these zones while online application
⚠️ Important Instructions for Candidates
- Only one online application should be submitted
- Keep at least 4 copies of Passport size photo which you upload in Online Application
- Do not wait for the last date to apply as server problems may occur
- Apply at the earliest
- If you have any complaint then reach the Commission by official mail id opsc@od.gov.in within 7 days of exam completion.
- Incorrect or incomplete forms are liable to rejection
